Jubilee BEST is excited to be the 2013 Game Developer!  As part of our game, Gatekeeper, we are hosting 18-weeks of fun educational activities.  We have one goal.  Our goal is for everyone to become more aware of the technology used in today's world! Click to view the posted activities.


The Friends of BEST in Alabama have been working with the State Dept. of Ed. to recognize BEST Robotics as an approved Elective!! 
This takes BEST from primarily an extra curricular activity into multiple classrooms (Math, English, Science, etc.).  Click here for details.

Event Dates

COMPETITION  EVENT  MANDATORY  DATES  TO  REMEMBER!!

 All these events are MANDATORY for the COMPETITION!!

 

  • Sat., Sept. 20, Time: TBA – Kick-Off - NW-SCC gym, Shoals campus

2014 Bladerunner ! playing field reveal, learn about the 2014 Bladerunner! game challenge, strategize with your team!!

 

  • Tue., Oct. 21, Time: TBA– Mall Day - Florence Mall ( Center Court , in front of Dillard’s, closest to Sears), Florence

Practice driving your robots on the actual field! 

NOTE:  Your team will schedule a specific 30-min. time slot to practice. 

You do NOT have to be there the entire time. 

You do NOT have to bring the entire team.  Drivers, spotters and technical members are good, so they can strategize about any issues that need to be resolved.

   

  • Sat., Nov. 1, 8 a.m. - ~4 p.m. – GAME  DAY!! NW-SCC gym, Shoals campus
